Why choose Sheila's?
Why choose Sheila's Hostel for your group accommodation?

Managing a group is difficult at the best of times. And it's especially hard when it comes to getting a group somewhere on foot. Sheila's Hostel is a perfect base for your group. We're so close to the Bus and Railway Stations that no-one will loose their way!

We're also within a 5 minute stroll to the heart of the historic city centre with all its fabulous shops, pubs, cafes and markets.

And if you're driving, we're really close to all the main roads, so it's nice n' easy to get both to us and from us.

We have over 180 beds so we're sure we can accommodate your group. Our rooms range from large, inexpensive dorms, to smaller triple, twin, double and single rooms. Many of the rooms are en-suite and for those that aren't, there are ample bathroom facilities on each floor.

We Love Groups!

We can arrange your transport.

Need a coach? No problem - we'll organise it for you. Transfers from Cork Airport or Ringaskiddy Ferryport? We can arrange them too. Just give us a call or drop us a line and we'll get straight on it for you.
We can provide meals.

If your group is 20 or more we can provide a cooked breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal directly from our Chef's Kitchen. Naturally we'll cater for any special dietary needs, so don't worry about that. Just let us know your requirements when arranging your stay.

Of course, if you want to keep things simple we can get you discounts from our friends in Luciano's Pizza.
We can help you to organise activities for your group:

We can help you to arrange group visits to places such as The Lifetime Lab, Blackrock Castle Observatory, Fota Wildlife Park, Cork City Gaol, or even a visit to an open farm. We could even organise a trip for you to visit The Jameson Distillery in Midleton and do a little tasting!

Or if you want something more energetic we can help you organise activities such as LaserQuest, paintball or go-karting. There's loads of things to do in Cork for groups of all sorts and sizes.

If you just want to socialise, and we can even help you there! We can get you money off your beer in a great local pub called The Shelbourne Bar, and we'll get you cheap pizzas for when you need a little soakage! When it comes to looking after your group, we've got you covered here at Sheila's Hostel in Cork.
