A tourist hostel is a budget accommodation centre offerring primarily shared dormitory accommodation; some private rooms; self-catering facilities and generally will provide laundry facilities. Hostels vary greatly in size and in the facilities on offer but one factor is constant: The accommodation is inexpensive, thus allowing those on a budget to visit places that they might otherwise be unable to afford.
No. We provide all the bed-linen that is required. For reasons of hygiene we ask guests not to use their own sleeping bags, sheets etc. Do bring your own towels. Though if you forget, they may be hired from reception.
No. At Sheila's, reception is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, guests are given security passes daily which must be presented to gain admission to the hostel after 11.30 at night.
No. Sheila's is an Independent Hostel and membership is not required.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Sheila's. There is a patio outside, to the rear where you may smoke.
